Scott and I headed to Mitchell, SD for the weekend to celebrate the wedding of our two good friends, Barb and Tom.
It was actually POURING for about 2 hours before the ceremony, but you would never tell by this beautiful picture! p.s., I think South Dakota weather is a lot different than it is here! Weird.
It was a really simple ceremony, and even made me tear up a bit!

Well, Barb looks beautiful and Tom looks like...well, Tom.
It was a nice reception outside at Tom's Dad's out on the lake. We had a great time!

They had all these lights strung up everywhere...so pretty!! :o) I wish we had a tree to string lights on!!
The best part of the whole night? A ton of fireworks!! Yes...it is legal in South Dakota! We watched fireworks and set off our own for about 3 hours! I think our "display" was even better than the cities!
So there you have it, a good ol fashioned South Dakota Holiday. How was your 4th of July?
