Today we went to a beautiful church downtown and they kind of built a new church around the old sanctuary, and it was very pretty. But alas, did not have my camera!
We heard our sister in law's father speak this morning as part of a preaching/ministry class he is taking. He had to do his own 30 minute service complete with a sermon. During his sermon he talked a lot about our sister in law and a big health scare she had about 6 years ago. It was pretty serious and life threatening and we are so blessed to have her with us today! His sermon about did me in, I was on the verge of bawling! While I do this almost nightly while watching TV (what is with me lately? Really? Bawling while watching Dancing with the Stars??) I try and refrain from doing so in public!
Scott also bought a sweet new road bike this morning from BikeWorld. It is very fast and he got all the bells and whistles to go with it. Clips and sandals that clip into them. I think he is now serious about this whole biking thing! Hopefully he goes way to fast he won't even want me to go with him! :o)
It has finally warmed up here, and it is really nice. I think the time change also has helped with the energy levels-I am feeling less and less like a walking zombie all the time! I've poked around outside and I've seen a couple little tulips popping up. I planted a TON of bulbs (like over 100, I'm sure) last fall, but I can't remeber exactly where they are! Hopefully this warm weather will keep up and I'll find a few more tulips here and there.
I'm on Spring Break this week and hopefully I will have lots of motivation to get some projects done. If this warm weather keeps up, I can even get some clean up done in the yard! I am hosting a big family reunion in June, so I want to make sure I have an early start on things so my yard is looking good. May will be here before I know it!
So...until next time, when maybe I will have something more exciting to post! :o)
